I opted to be a free member. Does this mean I can't send a submission for the Christmas Countdown?

But when I tried to submit it would not let me, said it was out of date!
Hmm. Let me look at it. I received submissions today so it should be working.
It had changed the deadline date somehow and closed it down! I’ve just updated it again so it should work now. Sorry for confusion!
