Hi!

Sorry to be talking about Christmas already but we want your festive stories!

For the past couple of years before moving all story publications over to WestWord, at Retreat West we ran a Christmas Story Countdown in Advent calendar style with the writer of each story getting a festive gift that was revealed on publication day.

This year, we’re running it here and will publish 10 festive stories in the countdown to Christmas.

Starting on 11th December we’ll publish one a day. We accept both new stories and reprints if the story was originally published more than a year ago.

Word count: Max 1500

Submission fee: £8

Theme: The festive season

Deadline: 31st October 2024
