Yet, another fight. Hot and cold winds collide. The impending storm stalls off shore, gaining power. Then, in an instant, a swirling hurricane of words wreak havoc. Tears, like swollen rivers flowing over their banks, flood the safe haven we built on the shore. Dangerous waters. Rushing rapids. Violent swells leave shattered dreams in their wake. Turbulent currents giving way to calm still waters. Silence. The damage done. Too still. Too quiet. Rain-battered. Storm-ravaged. Broken. Yet, still standing. Alone.
